New technology for flexible LED strip, it is chip on board (COB). Compared with traditional surface mount technology, chips being packaged inside a bracket, bare chip are directly mounted on board in COB tech. By that way, heat issue will be eased somehow. Another biggest advantage for COB products is that you will not see dots and dark space through fixtures.
